At the "Halfway Inn" we aim to meet your dietary needs.

Gluten Free is our speciallity.

We also cater fully for Wheat Free and Dairy Free diets.

As all our food is cooked on the premises, you can be assured that you can get a good and varied gluten free meal.

The food is cooked fresh to order and our chefs are trained in gluten free cooking and non cross contamination.

Please ask for our full gluten free menu.

We endevour to supply gluten free chips, however this is not always possible and we will cook fresh sautè potatoes in their place.

Our Bolognese and Chilli Con Carne is gluten free and we will provide gluten free pasta.

We have gluten free sausages in stock most of the time.

For Bed and Breakfast we offer a full gluten free breakfast. Fully supplied by us, not by omission.

If you are a gluten/wheat or dairy free customer then please state so on arrival to a member of staff who will ensure you have a hassle free dining experience.

We will provide you with distilled malt vinegar at your table should you be having chips.

We have an excellent relationship with our local food suppliers who have gone to all depths to ensure us the products we buy are gluten/wheat or dairy free.

Our chips are not coated and are cooked in our Gluten free fryer.

Gluten free battered or breaded fish is available by advance booking.

See a large selection of gluten/wheat or dairy free desserts including homemade cakes, pies, crumbles and even brandy snap baskets and tortes on occasion. All of which change regularly.

Our Sunday roasts can include homemade gluten free Yorkshire puddings and homemade gluten free stuffing.

However, unfortunately we can only offer the gluten / wheat and dairy free food to people who have an intollerance or allergy. This is mainly because we only get the time to make a small batch of pastries etc at a time that we need all we have for our growing cliental.
